The goal of a C-TPAT risk assessment is to objectively measure the level of vulnerability facing  the company’s cargo, equipment and employees, in order to take appropriate steps (action plan) to mitigate the identified risks. This workshop will provide a practical 5 Step Process for C-TPAT partners to follow in conducting a risk assessment of their supply chain, in accordance with C-TPAT security criteria requirements. The workshop will focus on how to carefully identify and analyze all parties involved in the supply chain and their respective activities in the procurement, production, packing, warehousing, loading, documentation and shipping of cargo destined for the U.S.  The workshop will also feature a case study exercise.

Who should attend: Trucking companies (cross-border and long haul), maquiladoras, exporters, warehouse operators, U.S. importers; and Mexican and U.S. Customs brokers.  A certificate of course completion will be given to all participants.
